Head tilts

People often show the underplane of the jaw too early. This will make the jaw look like it has no angle. Also, a hand demo of the day.

School is starting

I feel like a kid on Christmas every time a new semester starts. Here are some of the classes I'll be taking:

coming up with new shapes

At work, some of the character designers drop ink blobs and then make characters out of them. Here I drew characters using the negative space between other characters. The idea is to come up with shapes you wouldn't have thought of.
