Here is an email from Ivan (feel free to email me and ask specific questions):
Hi Rad,
I'm having trouble doing some knee (foot in general is challenging), wondering if you can do some sketch for doing some knees? I mean i'm intrigued how let's say Bruce Timm does his knees, what's the breakdown/consturction behind it.
Thank you!
Ivan
Disclaimer: in no way can you take any of this as the “right” way of doing things. I’m still learning and some of this stuff may even be wrong. I am constantly adapting and changing my approach to drawing. This is just how I think about stuff and I wanted to share it with people. Maybe it can help, maybe not.

Toby shelton blog
Toby Shelton is one of the best artist I know. I learned a ton from watching him draw and pestering him for drawing tips. You may have seen some of his model sheets that I've posted before, but now he has a blog. Go check it out.

More break downs
I learned most of this from kevin Chen over at the concept design academy. his analytical figure drawing class is awesome! I just apply the same ideas to cartoons.

There is still time to sign up for my drawing class at LAAFA. the class starts this Sunday 1:30 -4:30. Hope to see you there!
